Can I switch my investment to and from other Fisher Funds unit trusts?
Yes, any investor may switch their investment from one Fisher Funds managed investment scheme to another. There will be no additional fees charged for any investment that is switched from one fund to another. Please complete a Switch Request and an application form from the product disclosure statement for the fund into which you are switching your investment.
How do I make a withdrawal?
You need to complete a Withdrawal Request Form, (please note the requirement to provide certified identity documents if you are making a withdrawal for the first time). The signatures of all parties who signed the original application form are required. Payments are generally paid back into your bank account 3-4 working days after receipt of the withdrawal request.
How do I update or amend my contact details with you?
Update your contact details using the online access portal — if you have not registered for online access call on us on 0508 FISHER (0508 347 437) and speak to one of the team who will update your contact details and set you up with online access. You can also email us your new contact details — we aim to respond to emails within 24 hours.
How do I transfer my unit trust holding to another person or trust in the same fund?
To transfer your holding to another existing holding within the same fund we simply require you to complete a Transfer Request, or write to us, quoting the unit holder number of both holdings with details of the amount to be transferred. If you wish to transfer to a new holding we will also require a completed application form for the new holding. If we already hold identification for the investors in the new holding there is no need to provide that identification again. There will be no fees charged for a transfer between holdings.
What is your approach to hedging currency?
We constantly monitor exchange rates. We may hedge some or all of the foreign currency exposure in the Funds that invest offshore. How are my Fisher Funds investments protected?
When you invest with Fisher Funds, your money is held by Trustees Executors Limited; New Zealand's oldest and largest corporate supervisor (currently overseeing the administration and supervision of over $100 billion of investors' assets). Trustees Executors Limited is independent of Fisher Funds and has a duty to act in the interests of investors. The supervisor monitors the investments made by Fisher Funds to ensure they are consistent with what investors should expect and holds the funds assets in their name (on behalf of the investor).
Importantly, Fisher Funds does not lend out the money that you have invested with us. It is "pooled" with thousands of other investors and invested in a range of underlying investments (for example cash, fixed interest and shares).
Your investment with us is represented by units. Units are a bit like shares. The value of units changes every day (just like shares) depending on the value of the underlying assets.

Can I access my account online?
Yes you can. You can register here and follow the steps from there. If any of the security data you enter does not match our system it will not let you proceed. If that happens give us a call on 0508 FISHER (0508 347 437) and we'll sort you out.
Once you are registered you are able to check the number of units you own and the value of these, view each transaction on your account, update personal details and you can also print statements of your account for any period of time you specify.
